Man United Vs Forest match thread

If we win today somehow, we will be in 13th briefly. A midtable finish would make this a good season overall, which is insane to think about.

That Man Utd side looks a bit of a nightmare and I'm just glad we don't need to get anything from this game

Very worried about Morato, a real shame Sangare isn't in the game but otherwise as good as we have really

Free hit. First goal makes a difference. Avoid giving away daft free kicks.

Man Utd can easily be less than the sum of their parts.

Carrick actually getting the job permanently is often the cue for them to actually lose a game, but we've balanced that our by doing the same with our manager, so who knows.

First game since Crystal Palace in 2023 where nothing significant is riding on it

Cunha for Morato, all day long for me.

Stronger team than I expected thought Jesus would be with the baby now in Brazil

2 keepers on the bench?

We have nothing at stake in comparison

Not very hopeful but why not just enjoy the game if we can as a free hit

MGW needs to show hes in good shape for England chance. Will he be hampered by a mask?

Our season is over as we've nothing to play for but pride and prize money. I think apart from Cuna not starting it's probably our best available 11. Disappointing to see Taiwo on the bench as I'd have liked him to start. We tend to do ok at Old Trafford so you never know. I'm not expecting anything today but a draw or smash and grab win would be great.
4 or 6 points from our remaining two fixtures won't do any harm to VPs Forest future.

Random one but I’ve always thought it… I cannot get my head around how Old Trafford is a 74,000 seater stadium… the stand opposite the SAF stand is single tiered and doesn’t look particularly big at all. I never feel any different when I’ve visited either.

To say it has over 22,000 more seats than St James’ park is crazy. Must be the closeness of the seats

We've effectively made him a permanent appointment and said we are not looking for anyone else

You often complain about ridiculous comments from others Popey

Come on mate

Hes already a permanent manager?

Carrick was an interim manager. VP isnt.

Totally zero comparison. Purely looking for a problem that isnt there

Its all entirely in your head mate

Entirely business as usual for us and VPs been permanent manager since we sacked Dyche and apointed him

Nothings changed for us. Only for Carrick. Nothing balanced out at all

This is getting silly now
