Man City v Newcastle Utd

3-0 after half hour. 5-0 on aggregate. As if city don't look good enough we have ramsdale in nets
 
Not saying it would have made any difference, it definitely wouldn't but Trafford has made at least 3 or 4 good saves, ramsdale 0. Not saying its ramsdale fault as our defence has been all over the shop but sometimes a decent goalie can keep you in the game at least.
 
So, as expected there is no Wembley visit in this cup after tonight. Even a spirited second half performance couldn't mask a poor first half display. The bar has been set and we have to conform with the powers that be and cut our cloth to suit. Just think, PSR, sponsor vetting, wasn't thought about until we were taken over. Doesn't take a genius to work out why. 2 Champions league positions and a cup win in the last 3 seasons still isn't to be sniffed at. Just remember, in December not long after Eddy took over we were bottom of the Premiership. Those last 2 final games of the season against West Ham and the Spuds in previous relegation decider seasons seem a long time ago now
 
Forget this season its effectively over.
Some can dream as much as they like.
True Eddie has done wonders to get us where we are but he has reached his ceiling. The summer transfer window was a disaster. The powers that be can talk the talk but thats all they do. Our away record is embarrassing and would be slated at any other club.
