Something's got to give, I can't afford another £50 quid increase like the one last season, I know a lot of people in the same boat.

It's getting out of hand now, the club has had success and the fans have stayed but their is a point where, the fans will say Enough is Enough, and stark choices will have 5o be made, FOOD OR FOOTBALL, it's going to be that simple, I pay £800 for my season ticket in the 3rd tier of the East stand, and I struggled last yr, this yr I saved through out the yr and have that now but, where do you stop, I started in 70's and My dad paid £120 for 4 season tickets 1 adult and 3 kids, now you can't get to see 2 matches for that, and it's getting beyond a joke £1000 for a 'standard' season ticket at city is not far away, and you won't get a pie and a pint with that either, the days of it being a 'working Man's game' are long gone.....and this is something I would never have thought my club would do to its fans.....
 
Prices are rising beyond inflation and CM51 you are right, priorities are family first, especially when they get millions from TV rights, some surely could go to season ticket prices.

Its the wages of £200k a week that gets me, when people think that is a about 10 yrs pay for someone on £20k a year and not many up here earn that much, I was on 7K, I get to go to one game a year and that is for my birthday, but its a fortune to go
 
mate of mine pays £750 for his ST, and has also bought 2 for his kids (another £250 each I believe)

Taking into account transport, food, booze and the like, he's spending over £2k per season to go to the football. He's on a decent wage so can just about afford it, but I'm bloody well self employed, and any increase will kill me
 
Makes an an absolute mockery of Soriano's 'vision' of City as a 'community club for the 21st century'. Just a lot of hot air. Very, very disappointing
 
Now the good news, City freeze prices for the 16/17 season according to the Evening News. Not seen anything official on the OS yet

Good news, but hardly surprising given the new TV deal money. Be interesting to see if there's a similar knock on effect with match day tickets for those of us that don't have season cards
