No Buddha, at a Wainscott pub, but I only had two as it was a bit cloudy & didn't taste right. I went home and had a pint of my homebrew Abbott look-alike, which was better. Done home-brew for 50 years now, but it is never the same twice!Home brewed?
Understandable, but lovely depth of flavour.I find that strength generally undrinkable, just unpleasant
Down actually.Set lunch in Queens Head halfway up Maidstone Rd,actually was very nice 3 courses .
Smith's Wapping. Fantastic view of Tower Bridge and the Thames. Great food and drink (although a little expensive for me).
Food of the gods3 milk chocolate Hobnobs
A measure of a successful Borden Grammar School pupil, being so well off they develop a "top 5" list of London restaurants...I love Smiffs, easily in my top 5 favourite london restaurants

Loved their early stuff.Going to see Human League tonight.
Grew my own fuggles on the allotment for years, but this Sept they were suddenly infested with beetles & ate the lot.Bitters are hard to get rightvaren’t they? A subtle balance of subtle flavours. With IPAs you can just lash hops at them!
But how did you crack the eggs, with a knife, or against the side of the bowl?My own (always superb) omelette. This time with bacon and some wonderfully smelly ancient Brie cheese as the ingredients
For pedants, yes, there were also eggs involved.
I confess it is with a knife. Less messy. Not flashy enough to do it the professional way.But how did you crack the eggs, with a knife, or against the side of the bowl?
