LUNCH

Packet of salted popcorn and a brief walk around Covent Garden (my new client's offices). Very hard not to go for a beer in this area with about 10 pubs within a 50m walk from the clients office.
 
Quote an interesting one today. A nice meaty calzone, but it was the venue that made it unusual. In the bar at Games Workshop, Nottingham home of Warhammer. (No, I wasn't playing, I was with a client). The look of the clientele was as expected...

They have a bar in a games workshop? I take it nottingham is their hq? I thought their fans were either not old enough to drink or not interested in socialising over a drink.

My new client's office has a bar that they open at 4:30 on a Friday. I'll be honest, im gone by 4:30 most Fridays. Friday afternoon working is for chumps!!!
 
Toast (US whole wheat), butter (English), raspberry jam (French), sugar (US North Dakota beet), coffee (all over). I'm an unsustainable carbon foot print disgrace -and that's just toast and coffee.

Yep, and it was busy with a load of 20-40 year-olds...

Saw a similar yoof in Bromley High Street yesterday getting nicked outside Paaaaandlaaaand (Poundland to you and me). Classy.
 
Egg mayo, and mustard leaf sandwich. Home produced eggs, home grown mustard leaves. supermarket bread and Hellmans mayo.

PS. should be home made Mayo but err indoors is too lazy to make it

PPS. I can only get away with the above statement because err indoors never goes on this site.

I have a bar in my office which we open at 2pm- draft Camden Hells/ Ale is ok, not my choice though. I also bought one of those old school bar globes (very Del Boy & Boycie) which we've stocked with a few decent spirits
