Doing business early, the thing here is that, that is probably the average amount they will need to spend on all their acquisitions , if they record a loss then the question is what will be the punishment of the ffp within the premier, unless they know that the league won't do **ck all about it.

They can go for a loss outside ffp because they are not in the CL, just like Liverpool who made a whopping loss last season. But won't be investigated by UEFA , have they not spent ott to get back into a CL, how does that work then?
 
have to hope Shaw sees sense and either Stays at Southhampton or goes to a team on the crest of a wave, rather than the drowning rags
 
its very difficult to turn down when your career is so short that a 5% cut of any transfer fee, plus double or treble your current wages.
 
It looks like Lallana could be off to Liverpool too, such a shame to see that Southampton side potentially being torn apart.
 
They have to replace a lot of players, and it's not going to be cheap for anyone. We, meanwhile, will offload a few of the bigger salaries and look to the future. It's a good time to be blue.
