Is realistic and sustainable Cold Fusion really just around the corner? I'm not sure how it will come out through Google Translat but take a look at this interesting article from Norway's biggest national daily newspaper (it's a serious newspaper, not a tabloid)

They can't yet explain what is happening but experimental physicists are getting som really interesting results.

Is this the solution to all our energy problems?
by PER KRISTIAN BJØRKENG

Can two guys in a small office in smoke sitting on the solution to the climate crisis? Merger of ultra dense hydrogen will give us cars and drones with unlimited range. Houses can be disconnected from the mains. Or is it just wishful thinking?

In an industrial building in smoke that no one in the Norwegian public has heard about, barely enough either in academia, sitting PhD student Sindre Zeiner-Gundersen bent over a small reactor of thick metal. Even before the grant research began, he experienced that up to 20 times as much energy coming out of the reactor as what he put in.

Was it cold fusion he witnessed? Aftenposten wrote last summer........................

For those that can't read Norwegian (which I suspect is every on here except me) I suggest you copy and paste the link into Google translate.

The problem has been the global economy has been based around fuel. Unfortunately any good ideas like this usually get stopped in its tracks.
My ultimate goal would be to come off the grid completely.

Oh for goodness sake, it's not a consiracy by the oil companies, it's about realistic alternatives that are financially viable.

He didn't say it was a conspiracy lol

He is simply pointing out that this type of energy goes against the global norm and will probably disappear, like everything else of similar nature does

If it works then it will not disapear, the technology would be worth a fortune. But yes, perhaps I did read too much in to Sasquatch's post, I guess that's what you get for crying wolf though.

Are we ignoring the fact it's basically physically impossible unless you believe people who nobody believes?

And you ignore what we all know about motion and power to create energy.

I blame those bastard lizards...why....they freak me out.
