Lovell, Hess and Patto at least for now ?

Lovell and Hess were both at the game. I suppose Hess was always likely to be there to watch his lad but Steve Lovell wouldn't have been expected to be there ?

I see Kerslake and the other coach have both gone.
 
I hope Hess isn't involved again, he will only want to dictate team play, but the other two could form a partnership pro temp.

In addition to Kerslake and his side-kick going, I would expect to see quite a few of the playing staff out as well.
 
We have ten days before our next game, can't see the point in an interim team. Scally will have had someone in mind for a while so a swift appointment wouldn't be a surprise.
 
It is strange that the announcement was not accompanied by a statement of who is to take temporary charge as that is usually the case.

With a 12 day break I am hoping that this means Scally has someone in mind and will move quickly. When Taylor left it was due to an unexpected argument. Hopefully, this time Scally is more prepared.

I remember that it seemed to take an age to appoint Stimson. If he needs to invite applications, it will be a very bad sign :49:
 
It looks more strategic than reactionary with 12 days off and the next game at the bottom side. With a decent appointment there's a relatively winnable 6 in the next 9 games coming up (apart from SheffU, Bradford, and Southend) that could put Gills right back in the mix for a questionable run at the playoffs. No doubt Scally has a good idea who is going to take the helm already.
 
With 10 teams between us and the play offs and only three teams between us and the drop zone I should think Scally is more concerned about us getting dragged into a relegation scrap than going up right now.
 
Denis wise............No no no and fucking no.would rather still have JED than have that little turd anywhere around our club personally.
 
I'm not surprised Incys in the 99p Store, they've got a half price sale on. He was in the Snug at the QH, after the game last night, as his ban as been lifted.

I fully expect to see a team of Tommy T, Paul Ince, Nigel Farage and Gwen Poynter.
 
Happy to have Paul Ince come in if he can get us Tom on loan from Derby County for the rest of the season. Solves the JET problem. :4:

I seem to remember a few years ago, there was talk of him interviewing Hope Powell for the job. Attracted quite a bit of media interest and the cynic in me thinks that's why the rumour came about.

Could be considered as a "managerial concept".
