Not only was Sugar a leading light in the creation of the Premier League, he also allegedly had a vested interest by all accounts.

It was his firm that supplied equipment that enabled Sky to broadcast their coverage. It's thought sources close to him told Sky to up the ante otherwise their bid would probably fail.

I stand to be corrected, of course.

“I'm always a realistic person and when you have two clubs that have just got a cheque book and go out and buy the best players in the world, you are not going to compete.” So says Sugar and long may it continue, but what about Leicester Mr. Sugar??

It was Ok when The Rags Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea were doing it, because it didn't upset their positions in the top four, even Spurs and Everton were outsiders, but City upset the apple cart for these four bully everyone for their best players.

I remember seeing a quote 'Why would anyone sign for Manchester City'

now Players openly want to sign for us over other Clubs and they hate that and tried every trick in the book to stop us. The only difference is the fact that Sheikh Mansour is a business man and employs the best, in almost 10 years they have made us one of the best and feared clubs in Europe.

We just lack that one Title and hopefully we will achieve that one day soon.

Hypocrisy of the highest order.

The comment "the owners do not understand the tactics".....and he knows this does he? Our Chairman certainly does know about tactics I can assure you & I am sure his bosses know more than this supercilious twat thinks they do.

The point of his comments at this juncture? Surely bred of jealousy at the current success and the sustained level of the challenge. After all, he bailed out - our owners have clearly hung around far longer than most people thought they would.....and THAT is what worries other clubs.

The Apprentice is a good show, not the US one but the UK version.

Can't watch it, desperate twats making idiots out of themselves all to get investment from that poison dwarf. And to top it all of that Karren Brady slag passing judgment on people makes my skin crawl.
