Quite a few local derbies to look forward next season.

BOLTON, PRESTON AND BLACKBURN spring to mind along with Stoke? (Only an hour)

Out of these games Blackburn and Stoke away are both midweek fixtures which will surely hinder our average away followings next season.

It has just been confirmed that Bolton v Blackburn has been confirmed for SKY at 17:30 on Saturday 6th October.. The same day we play Preston.

No chance the Police will allow those to fixtures to go ahead on the same day. Looking like Preston will now be a Friday/Sunday which would more than likely take up to a thousand off another potentially big following.
 
Looking forward to Stoke, still doable on the train despite the late kickoff. Preston is a proper kick in the bollocks. We could have take a Doncaster like following to that, if it gets moved to Friday we’ll take no more than 2.5k. We won’t take more than 2k to Bolton either as they charge £33 a ticket. Going to be a bad season for away numbers I suspect.
 
Different train lines and different constabularys so won't be an issue, though could always be moved for tv purposes - perhaps it will be as it would give sky a northwest derby narrative with two on the same weekend.
 
I believe it is the first time these four clubs have been in the same division.
