Just got a little news on Sam Gale from a Chelmsford city fan site. One fans view.
"Played as one of two CBs. Was my choice of MoM, Very assured/calm and quick too, all in all looked decent"

.Asked weather it was a injury that instigated the move for Gale?
"Understanding was his signing was injuries related - club captain out for a few months (albeit he’s more a RB than CB) and summer signing CB similarly out. But as we only have three specialist CBs (one of whom i’d say the jury’s out on), would certainly like to see Sam with us longer than a month".

It's got to be a good initiation for him, playing NLS. It's not a bad league to get his toes wet in men's football at all!

I can see a few more going out at that sort of levell once we start getting players back the youngest members of the squad will not be restricted to loan windows so maybe more in September.

Yes, and he only came on in the 69th minute.

Decent header, just over 6 minutes in to this video:

Glad for Nads. Deserves to find a place and be playing football for a club that needs him. Better than sitting outside of our squad. Hope he does well and continues some goalscoring form. I think he’s at his best when confident. And his best is pretty decent as we saw in his first month last season.

Maybe now he has.

But you realise he was a L2 pots at Crawley. And started with 3 goals in 4 games for us before a long injury lay-off. Not a bad player at his best. But I doubt he’ll get back to that now.
Agree. Being fit and feeling confident plays such a huge part for a striker. He's been unlucky in both cases.

Andrews may be a similar victim of the same this season as, with the other strikers doing well, he may not get a run of games to build up fitness or confidence.

Great for the lad one to watch.Maybe a loan move to a higher team could come at some point this season?
Definitely - he’s better than that level he’s at but it’s a taste of men’s football at least .
He’s been the extra player taken just in case outside of the named squad for 1 or 2 first team games this season

What’s that mean?

Are you saying Sheppey have taken him simply as an extra player outside their squad just in case he’s needed? Or what? I’m confused…
