More pointless possession - literally. The fact that we only collected a single yellow card (& that was for a cheap handball) instead of our usual count which exceeds tour opponents actually says a lot about our performance. We couldn't lay a glove on them. Toothless. :067:

The point is that it that this result is not unusual, it is just the manner of the loss, but having saikd that we kept them down to one shot, our problem lies at the other end.

Can DS21 and KDB play in the same team?

Now THAT is increasingly becoming an interesting question Buzz. Many of us feel that KDB is wasted out on the touchline & unable to affect the game. His natural position is in the centre.....where DS21 sits. You may have hit upon a fundamental problem which is creating a dysfunctional team. I wonder whether actually KDB may end up in the centre when Gabriel Jesus starts and Silva might find himself warming the bench?

I regret to say it, but our magician had lost his wand and is using a second hand wand, but I would like to see only one play at a time, they dont gel together and more often than not get in each others way.

I have noticed for some time that he has been less able to weave his spells and his telepathic link with Agüero has been severed.

His presence robs De Bruyne of the space he relishes operating in and I fear you may be right - we may have our own version of the Gerrard/Lampard conundrum that England faced

You get the impression that Pep sees them as Inesta and Xabi, but they knew their games inside out and are nowhere near that level
