Litigation

According to Press reports an ongoing litigation against Pools would appear to be the main stumbling block to any proposed takeover by interested Parties.

To my mind this litigation must arise from either:
- a claim for wrongful dismissal by a former employee
- a claim for monies by a previous owner / board member in respect of entitlements not fully recompensed
- a football club claiming entitlement to monies from transfer fees in respect of former players.

I can't see it being in respect of unpaid bills for goods or services, as I would anticipate these to be relatively "small beer" in the scheme of the sums associated with purchase of the Club and not likely to have led to litigation in the first instance.

Hopefully this obstacle can be resolved PDQ so that new Owners can halt Pools' current decline to oblivion!
