I'm not quite sure what anyone can do to stop what is going on...you have 2 peoples that detest each other and want to see the destruction of the other. One image I have is just after the October 7th massacre of women and babies and teenagers at a pop concert there's footage of ordinary Gazans out on the street celebrating this...well what chance have you got when the hatred is so ingrained. Any Israeli watching that would have little sympathy with the suffering now. There is no hope , never will be...but ofcourse none of this is the fault of the children. They are the real victims not the hate filled adults on both sides.

There is one thing. Release the hostages. It really is that simple.
 
We forget that there are two parts to Palestine, Gaza and the West Bank.

Hammas does not run the West Bank. This does not stop the IDF supporting Israeli settlers occupying West Bank lands where Palestinians live.

Now what was that about denying that genocide is taking place.
 
if Trump says to Israel Stop,the fighting it will end tomorrow. Doesn’t matter what the U.K. or the French or Germans. Says. It’s what America and Israel do,

That’s not what Netanyahu has said though. He’s said stopping the war involves all Israeli hostages being released, Hamas laying down its arms, its leadership being exiled from the strip, and the area being completely disarmed.

Israel has said its goal is to eliminate Hamas but has no idea how many Hamas personnel it has killed so far. Since it considers ALL Palestinians to potentially be members of Hamas then it follows that they are all potential targets so they do not discriminate between who they kill.

Trump could stop the war by stopping all Israeli military aid. That’s a big ask since there’s money to be made financing wars.

It is, tweaked by Labour, but a shocking piece of legislation nonetheless.

Well intentioned perhaps, but the well intentioned part is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard given the ways to circumvent it. Even gchq recommend the use of vpns for Christ sake.
 
Just reading...Nandy has dropped another bollock on Question Time.

Claiming, people that protest outside migrant hotels are far right racists, when called out by someone in the audience she backtracked to say she was talking about the people of Wigan, go on keep digging Lisa!

Far right more like far wrong!

I watched the programme....she absolutely slatted people who had demonstrated at the hotel near Wigan, calling them far right & said a few were waving Nazi flags. When countered by a member of the audience that she'd basically called all people attending any protest at hotels as far right , she tried to back track....it wasn't a good look & she was squirming trying to justify what she'd said....very unconvincing btw
