Looks like this will be a tough one, with very few defensive players available with Jackson (injury), Hamer (injury), Darikwa (5 Yellows), Erahahon (5 Yellows) all out and also potentially losing House up top for this game as well.

So, apart from that, a full squad to choose from!!

Hard to predict the lineup or even the system to be honest, probably depends what Skubes thinks will work against the opponents. Last home game saw a Duffy start a bit out of nowhere? Not been seen since.

They're apparently coming off one of their worst performances of the season getting beaten at home by Crawley. I think something with width further forward and a bit more pace might be good:

Wickens
Jefferies Montsma O'Connor Roughan
McGrandles Hamilton
Ring Moylan Hackett
Makama*

But could be the three at the back. With Darikwa, House and Erhahon possibly out I'm not sure it looks super appealing especially with Reeco back in the wingback role that hasn't really worked this season.

Wickens
Jefferies Montsma O'Connor Roughan Hackett
McGrandles
Hamilton Moylan
Makama Draper*

*House if fit

Your second option I reckon and a 2-0 win

Wickens

Jeffries Montsma O'Connor Roughan

McGrandles

Ring Moylan Hackett

Cadermarteri House

Think we have to go back 4 to shore it up a bit. Difficult with not having a recognised right back but I'm sure Jeffries can do a job there. McGrandles patrolling in front of the back 4 linking the midfield with Ring right side to give us that bit of extra cover on that side but also gives us some flair and creativity with Moylan central and Hackett left side also providing us with flair and an attacking threat.

Up front is difficult because none of them are firing on all cylinders. If House is hopefully fit then he has to play because we know what he will bring to the team and can chip in with a goal. Although Makama got our goal the other night I would play Cadermarteri because I just don't think Makama did enough in the time he was on to justify his place and I'm taking previous games into that decision aswell and what he contributes overall, which isn't enough in my opinion. He spends far to much time in wide areas. If he's a centre forward he needs to lead the line down the middle and it's up to others to create and make chances for him not him being out wide receiving balls and having nobody in the box if we do get it in. His touch ,his hold up play, shielding the ball and above all for his size, his heading and aggression/determination need to improve immeasurably if he is going to make it at this level. It's alright cupping your ears when you've scored to your own fans because you may have been getting a bit of stick but let's see that you are learning and improving because he's going to have to stay at this level. Yeah he's young but if you are deemed good enough to be in the first team by the coach then in my book age is irrelevant and you get judged on your performance just like everyone else.

Anyway, as I say I would play Cadermarteri just because having Ring and Hackett and House in there I think it would sharpen our play up because at times we can look slow and laborious and we need do things quicker and make better decisions in our play all over the pitch.

Wickens - Hackett - Roughan, O'connor, Monstma - Jefferies - McGrandles, Hamilton, Moylan - Makama, House
We will lose this one too.
Usual two soft goals for them due to our usual bad defending / goalkeeping. We will score something too. Maybe.
1-2 Charlton

Perhaps our lack of defenders will lead to a Man City kids type selection and another 5-0 win.

I do think we'll have very little option other than to go for a back 4 with Jefferies at right back, a player who will put in a shift and won't let us down, and Roughan as a traditional left back. Lewis and Paudie in the centre.

That leaves the chance for wide midfielders to start in Hackett and Ring.

Centrally we need to make sure we aren't overwhelmed so I'd go McGrandles, Hamilton and Moylan all in there, with Jack a little bit more forward, then just the one out and out striker, probably starting with House if fit

That'll leave a bench of Paddington Duffy Draper Cadamateri McKiernan Makama and 1 other. Is Earley still with us?? as he'd be some defensive cover. Failing that I'd be tempted in bringing Parks up from the youths simply because if we get an injury mid-match at the back there will be proper round pegs in square holes.

Weather conditions looking pretty poor for tomorrow with the storm coming across the country. Not a game for the purist I'd suggest and one to only go long when we are attacking the Stacey West!!!!

Always go to matches thinking we can get a result so let's say 2-1 Imps

Interesting thoughts but not sure I think a back 4 with that midfield looks like it would shore it up to me!

Well it's 4 at the back not 3 but what we really need is more flair and creativity in the team. I don't think there's that much of a choice in midfield this week, you could possibly argue for Hamilton to be in there who is possibly a little bit more robust but that's about it.

Will it be on? 50-55mph winds around KO time.

The FAW have postponed all their games, Plymouth/Oxford just postponed as well. Suspect they'll be a few more into tomorrow, it's as much about the travelling from opponents/fans as well I imagine.

Have to say I'm going to make my 250 mile round trip drive decision as late as possible in the morning. Predicting 60-65mph around us

Just twigged ko at 12.30pm - we were going to set off at 1pm wen my mate said if we do we'll miss more than half the game - so setting off now at 11.15am - a near miss but on the plus side we may miss some of the worst weather uti

Just checked in at the Bentley to save the drive tomorrow morning, looks like Charlton are checked in here as well.
