Yes I must go there. I feel guilty that I haven't already.

Done, had a little think about my great uncles who set off on a boat on Wales and was on a mission to blow up the German friggats in Holland, all three brothers survived, they sneaked in the harbour and sabotaged the german friggats by putting bombs on them and setting them off, they came back with shrapnel in there hairs from the blasts bless em. Great grandad lost his leg from the trench. Will have to look up htere names i think it was Jones the lat name, been a while since my dad told me the story and my nan who passed away now.

We had an early night. Herself is still snoozing but I've been up since six.

Sadly, I must admit I fell asleep on the couch before 10pm and woke up at 10.35pm, then I crawled up to bed.

Feel really bad about missing it.

New respect for Pompey. What a great idea.

Portsmouth Football Club have honoured every member of the 'Pompey Pals' who fell during World War One by including their name on the new home kit.

The Pompey Pals, the 14th and 15th battalions of the Hampshire Regiment, recruited heavily at Fratton Park.

They went on to suffer heavy losses at the Great War, with more than 1,400 making the ultimate sacrifice.

Kind of did it.

Natalie thought it was at 23:00, but then we started seeing loads of people posting images of candles on Facebook, so we joined in at around 22:25.

Couldn't really tell if it was well observed by us as our only neighbours were all evacuated about 6 months ago due to a land slide so we're pretty much on our own.
