A while back he said as long as Spurs match his ambitions he is happy to stay. He has had chances at CL final, PL top spot, League Cup final and FA Cup semi final. He has worked under Jose which he said was good for him.He rose to the heights under Poch. So it's not like his ambitions have not been within reach. Does he want the ambitions handed on a plate like Walker at City ? If you can't fight to success, buy it instead. ?

Interestingly I wonder how he would react to any statement that if and when he won anything with City they would have won with him or without him but at Spurs he won something largely because of him. I wonder if it would belittle his achievement - IF it is achieved!
