400k is a good price...i think it is a very good price for a player that was going to be on the peripheral of the first 11 ...he would have gone for free in January plus 100k of wages paid...good work for all involved..
 
Sad to see Eric leave but hopefully good things for him. It sounds like he has a very good life for himself and he always gave his best.
 
He wasn’t the worst player in the squad and he pretty much always put a shift in. Was good enough for where we were but isn’t good enough for where we want to be.

Will be interesting to see how we replace him.

Didn’t realise he only had a year left, that does make it a better deal

His not as shit as a lot are making out & I think it’s a shame he’s leaving but as you say credit to him for wanting to play. That doesn’t surprise me he does stuff to help people either.

At his very best he is only moderate; his usual performances are very poor.

Far too many of our support base accept mediocrity
with open arms; thankfully our manager does not.
