There has been a decent discussion about Spurs finances and the impact the stadium and our on pitch success will have.

There have also been some pretty big numbers thrown about in terms of potential revenue increases.

Let's start with where we are. I am rounding.

IIRC our stated wage out lay is 55% (it might be 60%) of revenues. At £210,000,000 for the 2016 year end that puts the cap on wages at £115,500,000.

At 23 players that is an average of £5,000,000 per year or £100,000 per week.

How do academy or U 21 player wages factor into this equation?

We could also have 11 players at £150,000 per week and 12 "apprentices" at £50,000 per week.

How much do our coaching staff cost and are all football related salaries included in that wage cap?

We could also have 11 players at £150,000 per week and 12 "apprentices" at £54,077 per week.

Acording to sporting intelligence, in 2015/16 our average wage per professional player (and that will include first and second year players) is £50k per week...our highest paid player is on £90k per week - and they have proved over the years to be pretty accurate - these numbers will have gone up a bit with the new deal flurry we saw back end of last year, but probably no more that around a maximum of 10%..

The above is based on the 2015 report published in 2016*
