straight swap for bowen ? if only lol actually wouldnt mind lee gregory certainly more hard working than leon and think he would fit in with our work ethic also just going back to the hull link with leon is dickho still there ? if so that could be a decent swap deal
 
I still think there's a role for Leon to play at the club, I'd be disappointed to see him go. I'd rather see dead wood like Lavery, Evans and Washington shown the door for being NGE.

But once again we're skint so we'll flog Leon to a PO rival.

Same bloke innit, made the Championship team of the season. He's a confidence player who scores in bursts, true he had a poor start to the season and coupled with injury and limited opportunities as a starter he's not had a great five months. But he's only an injury/suspension away from being a starter.

It's a squad game and Leon's a proven goalscorer, business end of the season we need all the firepower and quality we can muster. I'm happy with Leon, Billy, Madine and McGoldrick contesting those top two slots.

no im afraid its not the same bloke as last season ok the 2 injuries have probably hampered him but hes looked nothing like the player of last season i think chris will sell if he can get another striker over the line if not he wont be going anywhere imo

Leon's career has been peppered with peaks and troughs. He's due a peak, rather with us than Ull.

Three recent seasons ruined because we didn't have enough forward quality in those late key games - 06/07, 08/09, 11/12. Imagine going into a PO game against a Boro or WBA with Washington up top, it's Craig Beattie, Richard Cresswell all-over again.

Selling Leon has dropped bollock written all-over it.
 
Said it before I’ll say it again I think we will be goin with what we’ve got I agree it would be folly to let Leon go in this window I can’t see it unless someone comes in which I just can’t see happening

He's not playing like the same bloke. Last season he was marauding around the top of the pitch, terrorising centre halves. Recently, he's been jogging on, jogging round, then jogging off the pitch. CW still keeps picking him though, so he must be seeing something in training, but I'm not.

So, should we move him on, especially to Hull? There, I agree with you. I'd keep him in the squad and move him in the summer.
 
With his rumoured bad attitude I would get rid sooner rather than later. However I do agree that unless we do a swap deal we could end up with no replacement. Dicko is not getting much game time but does have quality and is a bit different to what we already have.
 
When you are going for promotion you don't let a goalscorer go unless you replace him with one. One injury to Billy and we are short on players who know where the onion bag is.

At Leons age he needs to be playing regularly or he will constantly have injury niggles as to-day has shown. Unless we swop him for Gregory let him leave with his head held high in the Summer.

leons confidence and form have totally gone hes pretty much a passenger this season which is sad really,but like you say we can only let him go if we have a replacement
