I'm pretty sure the rule is can you continue to fight after being knocked down, not can you continue to fight if we let you sit on a stool for a minute, with an ice pack to wake you up.

Plenty of times I've seen fighters fall back into corner at the end of round having been knocked down though

I’m sure the referee knew.
For Warrington, the light was on, but nobody was in. Dangerous for a boxer.

got to hand it to wood. no quit in him.
he was seen as an unlikely hero. michael conlon was claiming wood was the easiest route to becoming world champion.

been avoiding the wood news cos my stream was awful and so recorded it. "walked into one" as we used to say, oops. "lucky" others would say.. got away with it either way :) Woods left jab just isnt strong enough imo. In fact 'mentally' I feel Id still have him if he came up to lightweight haha

Have to agree, whilst at the same time, it did feel 'slightly' hasty, if hed got up and wobbled on 5 he'd have prob have got the extra seconds

The only reason I can think of for turning down such a big money spinner is that they're afraid of the potential for crowd trouble that goes hand in glove with boxing events these days.
