Leeds fred

When we’re bad we’re really bad. And last night was a relegation-worthy performance.

Terrible errors made in the starting line-up, no answer to them tactically but perhaps just as infuriating - Dyche changed nothing at HT with the side 2-0 down.

5 minutes of effort at the end turned 3-0 into 3-1 but it’s papering over the cracks. We went down without a fight.

Time to see what Cunha can do over Morato?

I watched him on the first goal (with Aina) abysmal defensively
Aina should have , or track the Leeds player or else alarm the central defenders. He saw his run from at least 50 m back...the Leeds player couldn't believe his luck..

If Murillo is not fit I would expect Cunha to be more like for like than Morato as he appears to be more of a footballer defender than an old fashioned type. Let's be honest if Boly isnt fit I would start him in Europe and put him ahead of Morato this season if Cunha isn't rated.

Ginger bollocks has dropped Boly from the squad chap

Let's be honest, who of the Leeds players would you take to be in our first 11? Me, no one. For me it was one of those games that the quality ( or what we think we have) should have been enough.
We controlled the midfield for most of the game, but the same midfield didn't create proper chances. Yes the defence was crap, but games are won by scoring goals and before their first goal, even though we looked the better ( quality wise) team, we didn't show the " eagerness" to win the game.
It passes me off ( like many others I guess) the rhing that as soon as we are in touching distance and in a situation to bring other teams in the fight, we let them get away again. Last week it was Palace and this week Leeds.
Now we are going to play another 6 pointer, not for Wolves as they are gone, but in the battle between us and W Ham.
Will not be surprised that WHAM win today and the gap goes down to three points.
Yesterday's win, practically saves Leeds and leaves us and W Ham to fight it out.

Said in an earlier post that the fact that we've only seen Cunha v Wexham since Ange is bordering on negligence he should have been given bits & pieces of game time here & there as it was odds on we would need him at some point particularly now we've left Boly out

I don't think yesterday's win saves Leeds at all. If Forest win and Leeds don't, it is as you were.

But they are looking at W Ham ...they are third from bottom. The gap is 9 points ( prior to Burnley). If W Ham win today, the gap goes back to 6 for them , but three with us.

Yep. Burnley getting something this weekend against Wet Spam is what will push Leeds toward safety. Far too many games left though to make any real sweeping statements about who is going down beyond Wolves and probably Burnley…

It's the pathetic display and lack of application that is so disappointing and makes me angry.
Too many players didn't turn up.
Team selection was wrong. Half time decision not to change personnel was wrong. Beyond that though, too many players just didn’t turn up and that’s happened under Ange and Nuno too so not totally on Dyche.

The only positives from last night were Netz looking decent and Lucca scoring on debut…

DCL. Rodon. Stach.
Aaronson.

What I’m sick of is that we’re either hardworking like against Arsenal and Palace or we’re absolutely abject, like last night and against the likes of Villa and Braga… sick of the lack of professionalism. Why are we incapable of going to Leeds and getting a point?

We go there and get completely turned over. It’s embarrassing

I missed this post as I have you on Ignore alongside myself and the rest of the forum; with good reason to it would seem from this pathetic little outburst.

Now leave me be as I am late for my Saturday cafe latte with Big Rob, Da faq and all other ostracized vital posters.

Because half of our defence was missing and Ortega wasn’t great either…

What’s that got to do with Leeds battering for the whole of the second half and not laying a glove on them? That’s no excuse for that performance. If we’re that feeble when we have a couple of players out, then we’re down.
