Leave your current life now with nothing - could you survive?

I've survived worse, so yes, I could.

Would I be happy? Doubt it, I like what I have!

Its an interesting concept because our current lives have come about through conformity.

Well i ay got much anyway lol so aprt from my family freinds and council house i can live without the rest as nothing else matters all just possesions and imaterial things to me ;)

Yes, we all could, some will find it more difficult than others, people have a habit of surprising themselves with what they are capable of.

Sure I could, but what the question should have been to spark a bit of debate is what you would do, where would you go, how would you survive. As it is, everybody has near enough just said yes without expanding.

In 1990, I was made redundant and I ended up with a job paying one-third of what I'd been earning previously.
So I didn't leave what was then my current life with "nothing" but it wasn't too far off. We had six kids, two of them at third level and a hefty mortgage to finance.
Obviously, my family and I survived and I learned that you can live - for a period - on faith and fresh air.
That difficult patch lasted for a number of years, by the way.
I didn't enjoy it one bit and don't look back on it with any vestige of sentimentality. What I hated most of all was putting my family through it. I ended up with quite severe depression - thankfully, that's now behind me.
