SL mentioned using the loan market before the end of August. He will obviously look in the first league games how we get on but where do we think the one or 2 might be???


I think a left sided defender who can play centreback and left back and as I think 2 or 3 of the attacking players will leave on loan I think another attacking midfielder or striker may arrive
 
Lovell said he was desperate to get Ogilvie back on loan but that unless Spurs sign another left back he’ll probably be in their 25 man squad.
 
Well, Cundle has been farmed out again, this time to Dulwich Hamlet of the National League (South).
 
Ogilvie!!!!!! He must have been joking, shirley. In Spurs' 25? Has here been a mass outbreak of food poisoning amongst he squad?

He looks wanting in quite a few departments in my opinion.
Maybe one for the future, but I'd rather develop our own youngsters that Spurs's.
 
One striker, who may be a bit expensive, but can make a real difference. He could then try and loan out as many as possible so they're guaranteed first team football and a regular game. How stupid in hindsight not to have a reserve team and league especially if the big London clubs participated.
 
Mark Patterson explained that the last experiment in a reserve league resulted in us having 10 fixtures to honour in April. He said they prefer to arrange regular fixtures against a range of opponents as they believe that will provide better and more appropriate experience.

He also explained why the younger players are not loaned out higher up. We want players to play regularly but National League sides are not prepared to guarantee games for our youngsters.

Doesn’t the loan market close on Thursday 9th August not the end of August?

Well I fell for it obviously. In my defence there is a lot of b#llocks on here at times.
