The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
I have my of, I have an iPad. Not had a laptop for a while.

I had a professional gym instructor round the other day, he instructed and filmed the different exercises.

Ideally I need to play some of the instructional video parts in my gym.

I have tried to transfer to the iPad but it is being resistant.

Also, the videos aren't much liking windows media player but is fine on windows 8 video player.

What is the cheapest thing I could grab that would do the trick!?

Or would these videos, from an sd card (video camera) be transferable to anything else to play ( ie a DVD player with screen)

Buy an Adroid tablet, much easier to transfer files to than an iPad and will play pretty much any video format currently in use. Dependant on screen size you can now pick up reasonable models for a little over £100.

Additionally, many Android tablets have an in-built card reader so you could just pop a micro sd card directly into that.

Remember, it's micro sd so if the video camera uses standard sd then you'll need to transfer the files......simple to do though. I expect you'll find cheaper if you shop around, this was the first search I did.

Or for an extra £10 you can get this, http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/ipad-tablets-and-ereaders/tablets/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-7-tablet-8-gb-14272574-pdt.html?intcmpid=display~RR~Computing~14272574

Which is probably better as Samsung pretty much rule the Android tablet market.

Or you could spend £5 on a card reader for the iPad...

Or you could ask a nice Rev if you could borrow his...

Thanks votn.

Looks interesting rev, cheers matey. Surprised just using Dropbox then playing hasn't worked but hey ho!!

Be good, for a few of the exercises especially, to have them to hand.

Also a few tweaks from what I've done for a few decades, so need to re programme my mind to make that change! Re enforcing for a few times by watching will help!

Not quite sure what the problem is, but Windows media player is woeful, I presume everyone is using VLC now? VLC plays practically any video or audio file you can throw at it. Plus it's easy to download, PC or Mac compatible, small and FREE. Just type VLC into google search.

It's one of those bits of software I couldn't live without (no, I don't work for the company!)
