Apparently Kyle has said he wants to play for the BLADES before he retires(SU way podcast) i just wondered if Vital BLADES would welcome him back or would we think oh no not anutha One of our own? For me as long as we don't have to pay him daft wages, he could help Femi assumin we dunt sell Femi,it would be a yes for me cos Kyle could also play at Centre Half.UTB
 
Just like Brian Deane he chose to take the money from whoever the highest bidder was and wants to come back now he’s over the hill Chris will probably take him but I wouldnt
 
36 not old in my opinion, just depends on his fitness level and just how he,s looked after himself, physically or rather financially? My guess is the old boxing trainers advice, "Women weakens legs" so if that,s the case he,ll be ready for the knackers yard! The dirty, lucky f..ker!
 
Paul Mcgrath was past it with crocked knees when he controlled the defence. Kyle's much fitter, still fast enough and has great experience.
He could play for years with a decent back line- and he's got that club commitment we all respect.

If he’s crafty and kept himself fit with no big lingering injuries… nae problem!

I’m nearly twice his age and can still give the young uns a run for their money on the bike ….. mind you I have to pick my moments using all the experience I’ve picked up over the decades 😂
 
He says the same shit about wanting to sign for us every year but forgets to include the:

It's boring. It's tiresome. It's patronising.

Why should he assume we'd automatically want him? Regardless of fitness or anything else?

That said, if we need to replace Seriki, and it all adds up, then yes, maybe try to do it.

But he wouldn't be coming on a free. Burnley paid a decent fee for him. So it's probably, yet again, a non starter.
