Korea

Exactly. Until something concrete is done by the US, and peace is actually on the cards, then lets talk Nobel. Right now, all he's done is said he has a bigger button than Kim.

In many ways the Nobel has become akin to the Honour's List - just existing seems to be enough to get nominated 'if' you know the right people.

Interesting developments there with Pompeo talking about giving NK security assurances, lifting sanctions and providing investment in energy and agriculture in exchange for verifiable confirmation of the end of their nuclear weapons programme.

Talk about just giving them everything they want before you start.

Wasn't that the basis of the Iran deal they've just pulled out of, and that was one of the worst deals, ever?

But Mr Thae, one of the highest-ranking officials to have defected in recent years, said: "North Korea will argue that the process of nuclear disarmament will lead to the collapse of North Korea and oppose CVID."

"Giving it up soon after Kim Jong Un himself labelled it the 'treasured sword for defending peace' and a firm guarantee for the future? It can never happen," Mr Thae said.

"It is North Korea's diplomatic tactic to push the situation to extreme confrontation and suddenly send peace gestures."

Mike Baker (former CIA agent) reckons that the Iran deal was a bad one because there was no verification or inspections allowed of their military facilities.

Oh so we're back to Trump actually understanding the Iran deal, even down to the simplest point that the US didn't give money - it was their own frozen money.

Nah, didn't think so. Ignore your own cabinet, listen to your backers and listen to BenJamin Netanyahu (a man who doesn't realise there is a J in his name!) when he produces a video from Call of Duty or something.

Does anybody still think Trump deserves that peace prize?

North Korea will reconsider the anticipated summit between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un if Washington continues to insist that Pyongyang give up its nuclear weapons, a top regime official said Tuesday night.

If the Trump administration “corners us and unilaterally demands we give up nuclear weapons we will no longer have an interest in talks and will have to reconsider whether we will accept the upcoming DPRK-US summit,” Kim added.

It appears to me that Trumpton make the decisions based on his gut feelings. I think he is just as likely to wait till he is having a meeting with Kim Jung Dick and nuke N Korea 2 days later.

Kim playing the big game again I see.

The bloke without a J in his name is now saying Hamas are paying women and children to 'storm' the strip and soldiers (against such an underwhelming enemy) have no choice but to fire and kill them.

:hmmm:
