Kodi Add-ons

One Bloody Number
Ok.... so my dodgy TV box blew up yesterday, so I've taken the plunge and bought a Amazon Fire Stick.

Just putting some stuff on it. Got ITVPlayer and UKTVPlayer, but I want the premium stuff... movies.. sports etc...

Anyone got any good recomendations?

I want Sky Sports 1,2,3, SSN, Sky Movies, plus streams for saturday games and New movies.

Remember I'm a novice, so if you can provide instructions on how to install too that would be superb.

:17: :35:

I installed the tvaddons build, which puts most stuff on in one go. It's installed from the fusion repository.

If you want Sky Sports your best bet is Sportsmania, as randystand recommended. It's about £1 a week, but it worth it for the reliability and picture quality.

If not UK Turks or Phoenix are OK for the sports channels, but you will get the odd bad stream.

Exodus or SALTS work well for TV Box sets and Movies. I watch nearly everything through these now.

Google Ares wizard, and install pulse lite build, it will give you all you need.

No matter what order I put those words, I still think Wurzel is speaking a foreign language! :16:

Ok Wurzel am I being thick?

INstalled ARES Wizard and then installed the Pulse Lite Build...

I was expecting when I next launched Kodi it would look different, like in this youtube video -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PZ2IJmmHD8

But when i launch Kodi, it does flash up 'Pulse Lite' in big green letters for a bit, but then Kodi loads and looks normal. No difference.

If I go to video add-ons I can see it has installed a whole heap of stuff, but I thought these build were supposed to give a funky User Interface like the one in the youtube vid?

Sportsmania is excellent, and I also installed Exodus as mentioned above by Heath.

Youtube deffo the way forward as to the 'How To', and I did it through the computer rather than through the TV if you know what I mean - ie I plugged the Fire stick into the USB and did it that way.

You have done it wrong then Deano. Try installing it again.

Installed again and all fine! Cheers mate.

Not had much of a chance to play with it yet other than watching the 2 matches yesterday (So BBC and ITV work) but will have a fiddle tonight with movies etc..

Beast build lite for Firestick is lightweight build that has everything you will ever need

Install Sportsmania repeatedly which is £50 a year but worth every penny

the problem with a Firestick is the amount of memory on it, which is why you are better off with Beast Build Lite or just plain Kodi background from TV Addons

I no longer use a build and just have all the addons that I need which are all on the TV addons by Fusion

Google TV Addons and its a simple install from there on in

Yeah, I like the simplicity of the TV Addons build. They used to do a special Fire Stick one, that was lighter, but that seems to have disappeared. The normal android one seems to work fine though.

Pulse Lite seems to be doing the trick so far. Not watched much on it, just a bit of Bloodline, SSN, Disney channel, but most things seem to work. There's a few that don't but I expected that, and I'm not even bothering with films yet until my Broadband is upgraded to fibre next week.

Happy with it though.

Which streams are the most reliable? I've been using for about a month now and some are great and then the next thing I watch is garbage? I go from being in a good mood to hating the world in 5 minutes

I thought it was just me , I gave up on the shit thing months ago

Not that I have any idea what I was doing , far too much fecking about for me

I'm loving it to be fair. Pulse Lite build seems very good. Watched loads of Movies in 1080p resolution, no problem. Watched The Open Golf on there and that was great for 3 days but on the final day it did keep playing up, but just kept switching streams to get round it.

Watched loads of TV and its great for Buddy, they have loads of old Thomas the Tank Engines. it's been great in general.

New to all this, but downloaded Kodi App to my Samsung S7 Edge phone last night, and followed a youtube video on how to set it up.

Fairly straight forward if you have a spare hour or so. Now got Beast build on my phone and it has built in add-ons. Can now watch Sky Sports etc, Movies and virtually any TV programme I want, on my phone.

Also bought Minibeast, which plugs into HDMI slot on my TV which will mirror what is on my phone (not tried this yet, but its on its way).
Not got broadband or Wifi at home, so all the data is from my phone - which is unlimited on Three.
