Vital Football Hero
Earlier today , they ran a murder story , of a woman in Crawley.

They named a 47 yr old as being charged.

They have now taken the report away completely.

A quick google shows that his name has been witheld on news sites.

I thought in the UK , that when a person is charged , that is public record ?

Why are news articles being censored or removed ?

Can anyone guess the defendant's name ?

KoL - home of some of the vilest racists on the planet in their comments section. A recent article about a violent incident at McDonalds led to various comments all basically saying that anyone with a foreign sounding name should be deported all with more than 70 likes. They're so extreme, they almost go from the outrageous to the comic.

Over 70 likes each ? How many dis-likes did these receive ?

At a quick search, I've just seen his name given in the Guardian, the Independent, the Telegraph, the Sun, the Mirror, the Bucks Free Press and the Shropshire Star. And you're worried because it no longer appears in KentOnline?

You are right MG , but this wasnt the case yesterday after lunch.
The name of the charged man disappeared from the internet.
Only later did articles re-appear.

The Mirror article is from 17:05 - https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/first-picture-sweet-loving-woman-12611464
Independent 14:01 - https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...a-abbotts-zahid-naseem-brighton-a8372441.html
Telegraph 17:41 - https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...bludgeoned-death-say-light-life-extinguished/
The Sun 12:21, updated at 13:27 - https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/6385622/christine-abbotts-first-picture-crawley-murder/

All of those name him, and they were all from before your opening post in this thread.

If Kentonline did take it down, presumably they'll have had their reasons for that. Certainly doesn't seem to be anything to suggest a mass cover-up in the press though, does there?

RE KOL likes and dislikes. You can't tell how many voted it up and down because you only see an overall number, e.g. If 8 people voted something up and 3 voted it down it would show 5 positive comments. So on the disgusting comments I mentioned a positive of more than 70 shows that even if 30 people voted it down it would have taken at least a 109 positive votes to produce the result and that's frankly appalling.

Appalling in your opinion .
Perhaps you should have voted it down to 69 ?

VG - I don't know specifics, but judges will dictate a media block to ensure there is no chance of juries being predjudiced (this is why our Tommy is now behind bars). In this instance, it may well be that the papers were too quick in their actions and were told they had to change their articles or be in contempt. No conspiracy...sorry x

I’d be interested to see the amount of money Tommy Robinson has cost the taxpayer both in criminal proceedings/accommodation and also in police costs via EDL marches.

Quite alot , I would think .
Would you prefer it was spent on somebody else ?
Would you prefer the EDL to march without policing , with it's associated costs ?
