Key dates

Will still be in International Cricket mode then. Roll on India on 18th and 19th August. The only time I will forgo an Imps match is for my beloved England Cricket Team.

Been supporting them since I was a tot. Long before the Imps.

I agree a nice hot couple of months with a few trips lined up like Jeff to trent bridge to watch England and the one day /t20 Champions its Notts of course!

Tickets for T2O Finals day at Edgbaston September 15th already purchased after Notts Heroics last year. Away at Carlisle that day will do nicely!

I notice Notts CCC are doing for a quid on Sunday, very Notts County FC :lol:

They do it every year as part of their family fun day, for a Pro 50 match. That's 50 overs a side, for the uneducated ?. It is to try and get more families as a whole, attending the game. Nothing really to laugh about. It's a good initiative. Their T20s often have 12000 plus, and they're on a Friday evening. All for 16 quid per adult last year. Now up to 17 notes for an adult I believe. Cricket showing football how to do it. Their season tickets are a hell of a lot cheaper too. And exceptional value.

Trent Bridge is my favourite ground in the country. Cricket, Football or Rugger. It has an atmosphere like no other, and when you hear all 17,007 going....it knocks the pants off The Bank.

Trent Bridge in 2015, will stay with me forever. Never heard a louder crowd....EVER.

Useful information. I might go for a pound. Nearly as good value as my Lincoln City season ticket. Are we starting an Imps Notts CCC fan club?

I think we ought to. We got a mention on TMS last year from Daggers and Vaughany, when Daggers spotted a LINCOLN CITY FC flag.

Yes i believe there are a few of us at cricket games! I still find it difficult to say i support Notts ccc as an Imp though!

Knotty Snr. used to take me over to TB quite often when I was a youngster. We didn't "support" Notts CC as such, but it was a good opportunity to see top flight county cricket at a localish team.

I think it's been a thing for quite a while as Lincs is only a Minor County team.

Don't knock the Minor Counties, though. I'll have a day or two watching Staffs, and alternate seasons try and get to a game when Lincs play here.

Like most lads of my age who enjoyed cricket, my dad used to take us to Trent Bridge for test matches, but living where we do now I took my younger son to County matches at Derby, and I will try and get to a few days of county cricket watching Derbyshire this season (one of the advantages of being retired)

Also got my ticket for the ladies ODI England v NZ

Like my football, you will notice that I don't watch my cricket at the highest level (other than the very odd Test Match at Old Trafford)!!

Not knocking Minor Counties at all, although I've never been.

My PE Teacher at Robert Patt (sorry, The Sir Robert Pattinson Academy) used to open for Lincs, I think. I'm sure some on here will remember him.

I know they do I've been a regular at Trent Bridge since 2005 and seen all the modern greats who've played for England and aboard.
Go to a few county games too, normally if its a game involving Worcs (Phil Neale connection).
All for them doing it getting families going T20s are now £18 in advance.
Trent Bridge is very well run for the big and smaller games.
I was taking the mick out of NCFC and their lame attempts to fill their ground, I see they were doing free t-shirts and scarves on Friday....

I think mine was one of several flags spotted!
Re the £1 game i would advise ordering on line and just pick it up on the day! Its a very busy day apparently!

Sorry David. I get a bit twitchy when it comes to my beloved Notts. Been going since 1985. ?

Good ode Harry. The Brian Clough of Lincolnshire cricket.
