Kent Cricket

those that know realise that Kent cricket would be in for a bad season as the Democrats are supposedly in power in the USA. A certain member of the team is a rogue CIA agent . You check your history books, dems in power, CIA trying to start conflict in the middle east, and a sudden complete collapse of Kent batting . Not a coincidence.
Someone has to say it what on earth are you on about?

That's actually quite funny 😊

Something to be said for throwing the bat at anything pitched in his half - risky but very difficult to bowl to, and sort of takes the conditions out of the equation.

Well done, Stevo, for using your old wise head to take a different approach. At least he is not batting like a rabbit in the headlights.

Sensational.

Now needs to bowl them out as the other f###ers won't.

Has the record for the highest % of runs in a 100+ partnership in 1st class cricket.
Partnership 166
Stevens 160 of them
Cummins 1
Extras 5

One man team if ever there was one.

Wonder if the geniuses "running" the club will farm him out on loan to Derbyshire again for the 20/20's like they did last summer. After all, we're overloaded with in-form talent and Stevens is incapable of scoring quickly.
:gimp:

Uncanny. I was thinking exactly the same thing this afternoon. Let alone his capability to score runs quickly, I would back him to bowl 4 comparatively economical overs, particularly at the start of the innings. You only have to keep it down to an average of 10 an over in that format.

Imran Qayyum has been their best T20 bowler over the last couple of seasons but has sadly retired due to a shoulder injury so we are shorter than ever in that department.
