Fellow posters; just to let you know I've just arrived back home from hospital after an emergency gallbladder removal operation. Started with the worst pain imaginable last Friday. Admitted to hospital on Sunday and operated on Tuesday. Got back home yesterday (Saturday). It's been a horrendous 7 days or so but now I'm back home I can keep my eyes on you lot.

Mrs Exile (no2) had hers removed about 10yrs ago.
I likened her pain v a mild dose of man flu...
