He was anonymous in the first half - MIA. Improved in the second half but gave away some very cheap free kicks including the one we conceded from :013:

In his defence I have to say he was not alone in being MIA - it was so reminiscent of the 'rabbit in the headlights' CL semi final last season it was uncanny. Too timid, too easily brushed off the ball, conceding possession too easily and above all, IMO, too negative. The frequency of the 'wall pass' back to the centre halves by Fernandinho was driving me nuts!
