Kanye West stops gig because wheelchair-bound fans won’t stand up

The man is a pioneer for d**kheadedness.
Kanye West caused outrage in Australia this weekend when he stopped a performance because some fans were seated, insisting he’d only play when everyone was standing.

The two seated fans were in wheelchairs. Nice one, Kanye.
“I can’t do this song, I can’t do this show until everybody stand up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t,” he charmed.

When one of the audience members waved a prosthetic leg, he said, “okay, you fine,” before sending a bodyguard into the crowd to see why the other fan was still sitting down in the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney.

According to witnesses, he asked his bodyguard, “He is in a wheelchair? It’s fine!” before continuing his song Good Life.

It might shock some if you because I'm usually so compliant :3: but I don't do audience participation.

Music is something that feeds the soul, I do what I want at concerts. All this stand up, sit down, put your hands in the air, sing this, do that, fuck off and sing or I will charge for the entertaining you!!!

Although it did feel a bit awkward when muse got everyone to crouch down and I stood there slightly hunched! :3:

And the lesson here? Dont go to a kanye west concert ever again! Why people pay to see him anyway is beyond me.
 
I don't think there's any doubting the complete nob-ness of the bloke, but his first 2 albums are still awesome. Gold Digger is one of my favourite tunes ever.

But yes.... he is a gay fish.
 
What a twat. I get musicians telling the audience to stand up to create a better atmosphere, but sending bodyguard into the crowd because someone isn't standing up (disabled or not) is just shit.
