I got 2 wrong, one by clicking in error, the other I thought was an Americanism vs British spelling type thingy.....I was wrong.

15/16. I Closed-minded/Close-minded wrong. I didn't even know that!!!! I've learnt something today!!

And yes, I did get "their" and "there" right.

Close-Minded, Semi-Colon, didnt cop the 'Dosed' as spelt wrongly and dont ask me what I as thinking with Affect/Effect...

The picture for the semi-colon thing is exactly what I was thinking...

I have never seen it spelt close minded. I have always seen it as closed minded. Think I am going to check on that. It doesn't seem right to me.

Its i got wrong, i thought that was just used when someone didn't put the little apostraphy between the t and s, but now i know its is used where after the word is or has can't be used in the sentence, amazing, at this rate in about 80 years i will be good at English like i used to ba,,,,woohoo!!

Put your spell check on, or correct if you have got it on. Only a click of a button. That way you learn as you go along and can correct any wrong spelling or/and grammar too

Def close minded


I have looked on Google. Bother sides get a hearing as to why it is either or. Just sounds wrong to me as close minded. That will be because I have known it as the other 1.

I can see why it is close minded going on the descriptions. You say open-minded not opened minded so close minded rather than closed minded is accurate in the cross over of words.

Still sounds peculiar to me. I have never heard it used as close, always closed
