Junior Agogo

Scored on his debut against Shrewsbury. I didn't know he had a stroke a few years ago.

That is a terrible shame and at such a young age. I saw him play one of his only three games for City back in the day and he arrived with some excitement as he was viewed as a good up-and-coming striker and had scored a few goals for Chester earlier that campaign (netted against the Imps not long before joining us). But despite scoring in his first game, he only played another two matches and thus departed. Another in the long line of 'nearly men' strikers we have had at the club.

That's really tragic.

RIP Junior, and our condolences to his family and friends.

Counting my blessings ...

Sad to hear this, his is one of the names I remember from first starting to follow the club. RIP Junior.

Chester earlier that campaign (netted against the Imps not long before joining us).

I recall that too, a smart long range finish into the SW goals. the only bright spark in a Conference bound Chester.

I have no memory of his Imps career, tho'.

Gone far too young, 40 is no age. RiP.
