Jose makes it all about the players again, his part is ignored

You can never please everybody all of the time. The head coach can only do so much. He even stated as much himself. If you're happy to just sit on the bench then you aren't alive. Thing is when he gives these jokers the chance they throw it back in his face. What's the man to do?

If he'd treated them half-decently in the first place, they wouldn't detest him and want him gone. But he didn't, he did what he always does and so obviiusly it's counterproductive - just as it's been at his last two clubs.

The definition of stupidity is....

Dele.
If he is the agitator, the other players should not be influenced by him. He is immature.

Dele has been professional and kept his own counsel.

Jose at some point has rubbed up all of our so-called 14 that he trusts, perhaps with one exception.

Players simply don't trust him, and this week that's what Levy will hear, Levy is preparing for agents banging his door telling him they want out at the end of the season, how many of these he can turn around is to be seen - so he'll have a choice, back Jose yet again and give him more funds, or try and keep our best players - not easy, not easy at all.

Whether Levy keeps Jose or replaces him, I just fear another summer of 2017 if players leave. Levy knew Walker was off that summer and it wasn't done until the end of July. We then waited another 3-4 weeks before Sanchez joined and before we knew it, we were scrambling around in the last 3 days of the transfer window. Feeding off Llorente and Aurier size scraps as it turned out, and on yet another zero net spending summer despite coming second in the league.

If Levy goes down that path again, then he can also hold his hand up for next season's relegation battle. This time around, we won't have a solid core of players and a manager who can keep something going as we did in the 17/18 season.
