Im the same with euromillions. Leave them weeks before checking. Only really check that same weekend if on sky its says UK euromillions ticket winner.
Fact for you, if you get two numbers on euromillions you dont just get a free go like uk lotto. You get £3.20 cash. True story.

If and when I do them, I like to check them, that is part of the fun. Then I realise I've not won and the fun ends. I then think, never again. Then I get tempted with the next jackpot!
