I'm pleased he did this, it's a great way to identify people who genuinely need help., and it is true the finance houses and banks when they sell these debts on know full well they're going to be selling them to some seriously unsavoury characters.
The same 'debt buying' practices go on here too; it's a high-risk, potentially high reward business for no other reason that sometimes collection of the debt is nigh on impossible if the debtor follows some fairly simple rules....
