John Akinde

Going back to the Southend game, he held the ball well when he came on keeping 2 or 3 defenders busy at a time. For the last goal he started the run with purpose from inside our half, playing a quick one two with Payne, before setting Bruno up.

Didn't quite go for us at MK, but no complaints here.

IMO he is one of the best number 9's we have had for a number of years and opposition supporters frequently mention him positively, he occupies 2/3 defenders but I do wish he would put his laces through the ball when given the chance to shoot and play with a bit more freedom sometimes. Very much a confidence player from day 1 at the Club.
