How long was he out for?

Prior to last season Akinde would have been worth a fortune. Scored over a goal every two games for Barnet, he was also 2016/17 joint top scorer in league two. Only 28 too so in the prime of his career. Could be a fantastic piece of business.
 
When we played Barnet at their ground at the end Akinde and DC are seen shaking hands.It was then that i thought "i wonder"

Spotted that myself.
If these rumours are true potentially a good signing and immediate cover for Rheady........just keep him off the pens as he has a habit of breaking car windscreens in the carpark behind the goal.(still a year to run on his Barnet contract.)

What you are suggesting is exactly what is needed positionally.......midfield maybe covered?
 
Finally...! The wait for a striker is over... almost one year since we signed one!

Keeping things in perspective, this is essentially a replacement for Palmer (in terms of squad numbers anyway) so we still need another. Personally think Akinola would be a good addition as he has the flexibility to play wide as well (and would be on a free transfer).

I think he will play up top with Green instead of Rhead, IF we play with a two up there.
