Joey Barton on THAT game

Alert Team
I've just been listening to TalkShite and Joey Barton is with Brazil on the breakfast show. They were discussing our title winning game.
He has just said that after he had been shown the red card by Mike Dean, Bobby Zamorra went over to him and told him to do another City player so that it would all kick off and hopefully get one of ours sent off to even things up - it's why he did Sergio. It wasn't' heat of the moment', it was deliberate. Unbelievable...

Lucky Mario wasn't on the pitch at that stage.

Lucky too that Tevez wasn't sent off for hitting Barton first.

Should have been shown the door after poking a cigar in Jamie Tandy’s eye

I wonder if Bobby Zamora will back up this fresh version of events?

There's the first part of a two part interview on the latest Blue Moon podcast.

There's plenty of industrial language, but here's some background to it.

Barton loves the attention. I hate that he was ever associated with our club.
My feelings also, Barton was just a thug in boots as a player.

Not sure you could believe anything this bloke says.
He'll say or do anything for a quid.
