Who should Manuel Pellegrini select to be in Goal for the Capital One Cup Final?

If we want to pick our strongest side then obviously it should be Hart but there's other factors to consider here, squad harmony being the most important, Manuel has always been a man of his word and as such will opt for Willy, were he not to it could cause unrest in the dressing room at a time where he needs everyone pulling in the same direction.
 
Willy Caballero for me. He's been between the sticks throughout the tournament and it wouldn't be fair if Hart, who is a far better keeper came in just for the final.
 
Sorry, but I want Joe in goal. Big Willy is too flaky but I think Mr. P. will stick with him.

MP will select Lil' Will. L'Pool will be aware that our stand in keeper isn't fit for purpose and will obviously exploit this. Lil' Will can't hack it this level unfortunately.
 
I'll use an example of Olympic relays here:

In the opening rounds, some countries run a "B" team to just make the finals, and then completely change the team. Everyone gets a medal who ran in any stage of the relay. Same thing should happen here. Willy may have gotten us there, but Joe can take us to the trophy. His efforts won't be forgotten, and if he's the reason why we lose, MP won't hear the end of it.
 
Joe kept us in it last night BD, I just think that Willy let 5 in against Chelsea and at least two were his fault. He will still get a medal and I understand what you say, but JH is the form keeper and we are in it to win it.
 
Well, if we're being honest BD, we won't hear the end of it if we lose regardless. And if we win, the media will claim it's because Liverpool had a massive game on Thursday that tired them all out.
 
On the other hand I think MP will go with Willy, I just think it is the wrong decision. If we had still got Pants I would not be as worried as I am now.
 
And Willy kept us in it against Everton Buzz, had Delefeou scored that time it was curtains. I don't rate Caballero but if Pellers goes with him I can fully understand why.

Whoever gets the nod BD, I will be fine with and he will get my and all the blues backing, just wish it was Joe. lol

Not really fussed as I cannot see any positives in this game. It will turn into the Kloop circus - and the beginning of the new era- Slur style if they win. They lose - they're knackered after a huge game on Thursday. Imagine the press if the peoples champions win! I hate them more than the rags.
