JL: "I hate the playoffs"

Play offs are exciting but still rubbish. Of course I wanted us to win but surely if there are four places available then the team that over 46 games comes fourth should go up. It is of course all about money.

Play offs been around for 30 years now. They add something to the end of a season which let's face it would just fade out like this years premier did in the last month or so if they were cancelled. Okay as of yet we haven't had the best of them but I actually like them

Losing against Exeter hurt, but I am confident that we will challenge for the top 3 next Season!

The only thing I hate about the POs is that they extend the season by an extra 3 weeks or so & puts a lot of pressure on the players & management. If you win the POs your season doesn't finish until the end of May. You then have only a month or so to have a holiday & refresh before starting pre-season training. If you have to have an operation that really puts pressure on your recovery time. Plus of,course you are playing at a higher level, so, added pressure on recruitment & preparation time which can affect performances at the start of the season.

Especially now the transfer window is the start of the season being the winners of the poffs is a burden.Obviously if we had won it would have been great and we would have coped but the fa dont make things easy for lower league clubs!

Yep me too, 6 play-offs no promotion. 4 times losing in semi's, but losing final must be worse.
Spare a thought though for the record holders Preston. NINE play-offs no promotions.
