Jesus injury

City officially announced it is a broken metatarsal but haven't given a time frame for recovery.

A removable plastic cast is also usually adequate for 'march' (stress) fractures of the second Metatarsal and rotational fractures of the fifth Metatarsal. However, stress fractures of the base of the fifth Metatarsal sometimes show a poor healing capacity. For this reason, many orthopaedic consultants now favour surgical fixation. A small incision is made on the outside border of the foot and a small screw is placed down the middle of the fractured bone. With this method a return to sporting activity is usually possible after 6 - 8 weeks.

Absolutely gutted for the guy - not easy to settle in so quickly to this league especially joining in January and this will be a real set back. He will have to regain his match fitness too. :013:

Lucky we have Aguero, KI72 and Nolito as back up - few clubs can boast that strength of depth.

Still, it's a broken bone in a foot, not the end of the world.

Terrible piece of bad luck. I was looking forward to seeing him terrorise the rag back line.
When will we know when the re-arranged game is?

He might be back by then, younger people tend to recover quickly and it depends on how bad the break is

If he has opted for surgery I will be surprised if he plays again this season :-(
