I bet you knew Higgsy (I think that was his name) and the rest of that mad bunch from Ilson who used to go to the games in the 70s.

I remember one away game in particular, at West Brom, where they created mayhem.

A West Brom player was attempting to take a corner - they were taking it in turns to nip out of the crowd to kick the ball away before he could take the corner; it went on for a few minutes before the referee had to get the Police involved.

He’s just apologised for inappropriate messages. I think that was more for the benefit of his family. His wife mustn’t be too impressed and that’s a bridge that needs to be fixed first. I for one am prepared to accept it was an error of judgment.
 
This is all just sad. What a dickhead. Not the worst ever of course, just a guy acting like a twat.
tbh he was never the best pundit so he won't really be missed, but it was nice having someone with a pro Forest perspective at the BBC.

Yesterday he was angry and talking about lawyers and 2 sides to every story

Turns out there's just one side to the story after all!

Looks like the lawyers have taken one look and told him he's got no choice but to start saying sorry to everyone unreservedly

I don't think he understands the way normal life works

Thought he could do no wrong and somehow blame his own shite wrongdoings on others

I can't find any sympathy for him. I'm not sure there's a nice guy behind the mask either. It's all about him.

And the main thing he's sorry about is being caught out

The people I'm talking about 100% consider themselves true believers and that everyone is a sinner.

Ideologies and theologies are like guns. On their own they commit no crimes until yielded by weak people with bad intentions.

But they don't half allow those bad intentioned people to do a lot more damage than they would have been able to without them
 
He'll bounce back it's not like he beat up Ulrika Jonson and threw her down a flight of stairs and showed friends and colleagues photos of her sucking his cock like another ex Forest player who still finds work.
