We were second best all over the pitch today from start to finish. We failed to get going at any point in the game.?

I might be interpreting that wrong but I find it disrespectful to our club.

Sorry JED on leaving here I see your next job being more likely in non-league that the premier league. You have done nothing to suggest that your ambitions are realistic.
 
I presume he is trying to answer the "no ambition" criticisms. He is at least honest about the depth of awfulness we plumbed this afternoon. Is he honest enough to answer another question: " Why did MY team that I chose, prepared and sent out show so little..... again? Could it be me?"
 
Ridiculous that he seems to be placing the majority of the blame with the players, it was him that sent the them out with no plan whatsoever.
 
Losing by only 1 goal, when it could so easily have been 3 is over achieving.

17th and 9th, so how low is Jed considering to be right, relegation to league 2 perhaps.

Jed you need to leave and go to a club big enough to meet your ambition.

The majority of the blame is with the players. They aren't school boys that need to be taught the basics. The lack of effort by JET, the inability to pass to each other is hardly JEDs fault.

My normal complaint is that he doesn't change it enough, but he did that today.

The majority of the fault for that display does lie with the players. The question for JED and Scally is. Can JED fix it.

I honestly believe that he can't, partly because he has a mentally and physically weak team. He needs a strong captain, he doesn't have one in the squad.

Ultimately JED is responsible but his troops let him down big time (again).

He signed them, he trains them, he picks them, he sets out the tactics.

Spot on.

JED clearly thinks we are a little pebble on his path to greatness.

Also, I don't understand the usual formation of playing Cody up front on his own. It so obviously doesn't work. OK, he may have lost it a bit but the poor sod doesn't stand a chance.

Finally, I'm ok with us trying to play decent football rather than hoofing it but we've gone to the other extreme and play (sideways) in slow motion. I felt like screaming at them at Millwall. We only got going when 2 - 0 down with 10 men. If we'd played like that for any decent amount of time before then, I'm confident we'd have won comfortably.

PS - absolute joke that we had 2 sent off by comparison with last year they only got one sent off. Konchesky's dismissal was a fair cop - his legs have "gone" and another late tackle when their winger breezed past him was almost inevitable. Dack unlucky and returning to form 2nd half.

JED did take the responsibility for that

Unfortunately, it's probably too little too late to keep him on side with 90% of the fans.
I haven't renounced JED yet only because I know he was just as bad with the press at Newport County and got them back to back promotions. The difference was, of course, the height of those promotions was to League Two and it's possible the "Big Fish in a Small Pond" syndrome is proving that he's unfortunately a League Two manager. I only hope he doesn't take us there with him.
