January transfer window

Seen the Tweet about Millwall and Harry, who knows nowadays which have some substance, does seem more rumours coming to fruition this year than before

The problem if Toffallo goes after Andrade is a new relationship down the left hand side will have to be created mid season, though Grant has now played a fair amount of games on the left.

Sounded like Toffolo was as good as gone but Appleton playing coy to maximise the fee. He mentioned it’s why he’s signed Melbourne but in the week he’s said he sees him as a CB.

Edun/Melbourne as LB on Saturday or another player to come in.
He said he sees him as a LB who can play CB

Will be disappointing to lose Toff especially to Huddersfield but good luck to him. A but nervous that Melbourne seems to be the successor, big shoes to fill for a guy who's played 3 first team games.

There is a rumour on SM that Toffs is off to Cardiff not Huddersfield. In fact, some wag has changed his wiki page to state he has moved to Cardiff. Funny thing would be that would make more sense than a move to Huddersfield (where he has a risk of being back in L1 next season).

He is definitely off somewhere if the fee is met- watch this space

Coventry looks a good player. Great link up play and a couple of great balls through to the forwards. Can not wait to see more of him

Wiki currently says Huddersfield, at least it did 5 minutes ago. Good luck to the lad wherever he goes, certainly doesn't owe us anything.

neil harris was managing toff at millwall for six months less than two years ago. never played him.
then released him for nowt to his mate danny.
wonder how much they are prepared to fight over toff now... hopefully a ££££lot

Toffs is a great player will definately step up to championship and maybe beyond . cant blame him if he does move.Whilst we will miss him With the guys behind the scenes and Ma at the helm we will replace adequately

The one thing going against Toffs is he style is more a Trent Alexander Arnold wingback role than a LB- although he has improved, defending is not his strongest point (tenacity and fearlessness are though) and joining a team which doesn't have the ability, skill or players to get the best out of Toffs then he will risk having to play a LB role rather than a wingback role.

Quality always sees through but, from the PL down, teams are littered with players who managers didn't get the best out of because the team style, formation, etc weren't in sync with the player.

HTFC forums keep stating they are desperate for a LB which I don't think matches with Toffs.

Think of team players over last 10 years who have moved on but not progressed -Waterfall, Raggett. I can only think of Alan Power as a permanent player who has excelled in the team he moved to - someone better than me will say otherwise which is fine. Possibly Nolan but wouldn't use Nolan and excelled in the same sentence.

Hope Toffs bucks the trend.

Pleased for Toffs if he lands a Championship move + more £££s in his pocket no doubt. Good player who deserves it.

However I can't help but think that if he chooses the dog botherers we'll see him next year... The dogs on a downward trajectory and fined last week for ill-discipline. Hope he chooses Cardiff for his sake to at least ensure Championship football in 2020/21 season.

It would be ironic if Lincoln were to win promotion (only 5 points behind the play-offs) and Huddersfield were to be relegated (4 points above the bottom three). There was plenty of comment about Mr Cowley's choice of club at the time he joined them.
