The EFL 2023-2024 season winter transfer window opened at midnight on Mon 01 Jan and will close at 23:00 on Thurs 01 Feb

We find ourselves in exactly the position we do not want to be in at this important time of the season - managerless. The transfer window is now open and we are relying on others at the club to sound out potential signings, players who may not be the new incumbents choice to fit in with the style of play he’ll want to implement.

Previous seasons in January have been disappointing, with inflated prices in mid-season holding our owners back from splashing the cash. A large chunk of any spare monies allocated for transfers has probably gone on Duff’s compensation package.

Anyway let’s start the rumours off by speculating who will leave and who will come in.

Hull were said to be interested in signing striker Liam Cullen.

Martin was interested in signing centre-back Nathan Wood in the summer but he got injured, will he revive that interest?

Bolton forward Dion Charles, 13 goals so far this season, has been scouted by Swansea and Hull recently.

Standard Liege winger, an ex-Spurs Academy player, Romaine Mundle
has been linked as of interest to us.

Brandon Cooper permanent move to Leyton Orient.

Nathan Tjoe-A-On joins Dutch Eridivisie club Heerenveen on loan until the end of the season.

Nathaniel Ogbeta joins Bolton on loan until the end of the season.
 
Ex-Spurs Romaine Mundle, Standard Liege to Sunderland.

Gazumped again, we are not an attractive club to players anymore.
