January 2026 Transfers

Norwich City have seen a new attempt for Glen Kamara rejected by Rennes this morning, despite increasing their proposal. He doesn't seem to be in favour and was out on loan but still refused. Doesnt seem like he'd be a big benefit .

Still back down to one left back. We recruited amass as we were low then lost him and didn't bring another in with PC saying we have four players in that position...but three are out long term...I'm guessing he is just now thinking fisher can cover, as can field

Looks liek we have beaten Celtic, Crystal Palace and Brighton to Dundalk central defender Vinnie Leonard

The click baiters are laughable, in one article it goes on about Leonard being the second Makama even though Leonard is a CB and Makama is a striker.
Also within that article is an X post stating that Leonard has joined Brighton!!

However who knows what the truth is? I await a statement from Brighton or Norwich.......as Connor Southwell was claiming a city

Field has played at left back for QPR this season.

Been wondering why Sam Field - to fill the defensive gaps caused by injury thats fine but why did QPR let him go?
He's only played 3 times this season for QPR. Why would he be so out of favour?. He's had three injuries the last one in December this season the other two ankle injuries
Hes third in line behind Varane, and Hayden when fit, Edwards could also play ths defensive midfield role too.
He wants to play football and benches are not his thing.
Apparantly signed a new contract last year for a couple of years or so.
In his NCFC interview he says its only fr the rest of the season and "we'll see where it goes from there". So maybe his time at QPR is limited.

QPR Fans extracts - Field is a very defensive player, who can break up play as one of his positives, the manager dont fancy him then he’s better out on loan with Norwich covering some or all his wages., to be more attacking Sam is not that midfield player, Field the shield, great player always gives his all for the club, is an experienced and versatile player at this level, a true professional who can also play in various positions.

apparently he had lots of top clubs after him - I wonder if he will just dissapear into our academy and then never see him again?
